At Handsome Brook Farm we offer our guest the joy of being on a farm with the
luxury touches of a fine hotel.
Your stay with us will be something special. Located in a quiet Catskill valley, the first
thing you will notice is the beauty and peacefulness of your surroundings. Hear the peaceful waters of East Handsome Brook which flow directly behind our home. Each of our rooms has a view of the brook, and you will sleep more soundly than you have in years. There are large, comfy chairs by the fire. And our library, with thousands of books is waiting for you to explore.
Our guests are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast featuring local produce,
home baked breads and pastries, and cooked-to-order eggs. We encourage you to
explore our 2,000+ volume library specializing in theology, sociology, education,
and the classics, or, take a seat at the large library table - perfect for scrap
booking and hobbies. Alternatively, visit the Music Room, complete with Grand
piano, to sing your own tune.
With 100s of acres to hike, snowshoe, or cross-country ski, the Handsome Brook Farm has something for everyone! Take a walk on Blueberry Hill – our 20 acre blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry orchard – or get the Farm Experience by helping feed the farm animals, plant and tend the berries, pick fresh fruit and vegetables (in season), or help with general activities.

Pet policy: Although we do not offer pet accommodation, there is an excellent
kennel only ½ mile away. We would be happy to provide a reference for you.
